Mobile scaffolding is a commonly used auxiliary tool in construction, and its correct use can improve work efficiency and ensure construction safety. To ensure safe operation, please strictly follow the following precautions:
1. Pre use inspection
Check structural integrity: Ensure that all components of the scaffold (such as uprights, crossbars, casters, cross supports, etc.) are free from deformation, cracks, or severe corrosion.
Check the wheel locking device: The wheels of the mobile scaffold must have a brake function. Before use, confirm whether the brake is effective to prevent accidental sliding.
Check the stability of the platform: Ensure that the working platform of the scaffold is firmly laid and there are no loose or missing pedals.
2. Proper assembly and adjustment
Install according to specifications: strictly follow the installation instructions provided by the manufacturer to ensure that all connecting components (such as fasteners and bolts) are securely fastened in place.
Maintain levelness: The scaffold must be placed on a solid and flat ground, and adjusted with shims if necessary to avoid tilting or settling.
Control height: the height of mobile scaffold shall not exceed 3 times the width, otherwise slant support shall be added or fixed with the wall to prevent overturning.
3. Safety usage regulations
Overloading is prohibited: The total weight of materials, tools, and personnel on the work platform shall not exceed the maximum load-bearing limit of the scaffold.
Personnel protection: Construction personnel must wear safety helmets, safety belts, and non slip shoes. When working at heights, the safety belt should be fastened to a stable anchor point.
No standing while moving: If it is necessary to move the scaffold, all personnel and items on the work platform must be cleared in advance and pushed by a dedicated person to avoid sudden acceleration or emergency stop.
4. Environmental and operational requirements
Prohibited in adverse weather conditions: Use should be stopped under strong winds (above level 6), rain, snow, freezing and other weather conditions to prevent scaffolding from slipping or collapsing.
Avoid power lines: Keep a safe distance (at least 5 meters) between scaffolding and high-voltage power lines to prevent electric shock accidents.
Regular maintenance: Clean up debris in a timely manner after use, inspect damaged parts and replace them. Rust prevention treatment is required for long-term storage.
5. Emergency measures
If scaffolding is found to be shaking, deformed or making abnormal noises, the operation should be stopped immediately and personnel should be evacuated. It can only be used after passing the inspection.
Supervisors should be equipped on the construction site to ensure quick response in emergency situations.
